A quiet corner

I found my quiet corner in work at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month and had my two minute silence

Remembrance transcends all boundaries. The silence seeks a small yet important individual and collective act, a rare moment when the nation can stand together and reflect on the price of freedom. That price is still being paid. More than 12,000 British Servicemen and women have been killed or injured on active service since 1945.

"If we are to maintain our peace and freedom, we must always remember."

The weather has been a mix of different kinds of rain which is lovely today, I managed to get the Castle in-between showers while I walked around, I should have used a tripod or upped the ISO but I liked the reflections.

Many thanks for the hearts, stars and lovely wonderful comments on yesterdays Rememberance blip. Blip is a fantastic supportive community :-)
