Technical hitches

For the first time in Sinfonietta's life, the percussionist's lives and Garry Walkers time as a conductor he has never had the problem of the percussion section being completely blinded by the stage lights bouncing off of the lid of the piano. Hence the duster. Which did stay on for tonight's concert! How bizarre.

This concert felt like the best one yet for me with Sinf. I am not sure if it was just great music or because I was again promoted up a few desks so right in the heart of it all. The acoustic from my seat was fantastic!
