Straight Ahead Only
The Edinburgh tram works have come to an end and I have even seen one or two trams actually moving at the airport end of the line, albeit with no passengers on at the moment. There still are some cones blocking the tram lane on Princes Street (Photoshop is your friend for getting rid of them - I wasn't really in the middle of the street whilst the buses sped by - honest) so I took the opportunity to put down a banker for the weekly blip challenge theme of STRAIGHT.
After about 5 minutes setting up the camera I had a car with flashing lights appear behind me although not of the blue variety. Two chaps in high viz jackets came up to me and asked what I was taking photos of. I showed them and told them all about Blipfoto and the weekly challenges we set up. I was then told that 'we don't like people taking photos on the tram lines', 'why?' I enquired, querying if it was to do with damage on the lines but no the reason is 'because we've been told to tell people not to take photos on the lines' - that clears it all up then....
