Our First Morning in Ireland

Hubs and I made our first ever trip to Ireland in August 2010 - leaving us wondering, why did we wait so long to visit this magical country??

After a four hour delay in Newark, then flying all night, we arrived in Shannon Airport and picked up our rental car. Then we sat in the parking lot for about 15 minutes, trying to mentally work out the whole business of driving on the "other" side of the road! A hair-raising 20 minute drive to Ennis where we found our delightful little Inn (thanks to a GPS), staggered out of the car, and got settled in.

As is usually the case after a transatlantic flight, we had a quick nap, then took a long wandering walk in the fresh air. Early dinner and off to dream land.
