Ireland - Day Two

We set out early to drive around the Burren, and to the Cliffs of Moher. Words fail me and even the photos didn't come close to doing it justice...I chose this shot simply because the Cliffs are so iconic. We stood at the top, with covering of mist and a sense of total wonder and awe.

The Burren was wonderfully rugged and beautiful in a wild way. We had fun just driving where the roads led us, stopping as we liked. Some of the highlights of the day were the Parknabinnia Wedge Tomb, the Shea Castle and lunch at the Burren Wine & Gourmet.

By the end of our second day in Ireland, we'd fallen totally in love with it!
