Live it loud!

And the winner is …..

Tonight the club had two competitions. One a long standing competition with a trophy left by one of the club founders before he moved to the USA many years ago.

The second was the Andy Fell Memorial trophy which featured in a blip here back in May. This was the first running of the competition with this super trophy up for grabs.

I won the first event, the Martin Bend trophy, but, it was the Andy Fell trophy I most wanted to bring home.

Sadly. as you can see, I am not in the picture for the presentation. Rex Coleman (left) pipped me to win it. Right is Colin Norburn (Treasurer - he organised the claret jug) and centre is Graham Cashmore (Competition Secretary - He did all the hard organising and vote counting).

Rex was completely taken aback at his victory and could't wait to get home to show his wife both the claret jug but also a glass trophy that he gets to keep.

Despite not winning, it was a great evening with many more entries for the first competition than in previous years and a great showing for the second. Andy would be pleased at the quantity and quality of mono prints entered in his name. Thanks to everyone for participating and for coming along this evening.
