Up close and personal

I watched this pileated woodpecker for quite a while as it was eating away at the suet cake. A juvenile, it's not as skittish as its' parents. Was lucky to get this close up in the pose that I love, where they cock their head back and listen. Woody the woodpecker, sound familiar?
We had some more snow overnight and the woods look pretty with the white floor. Tomorrow may bring warmer temperatures and some melting.
My sister is enjoying her time in the north and being able to observe nature. Today was a good day.
