He is the barrista and Duty Manager at the cafe near to where I attend meetings in Wellington. Their coffee is Tuatara coffee; tuatara is a New Zealand native lizard which is ancient. The coffee is fresh and strong.

I've obviously been going in often enough as he started to make the Long Black (what we in NZ and Australia call an espresso with extra hot water to make a larger drink without milk) without even asking me.

On the wall behind him is an old black and white photograph of the marina and boat sheds at Oriental Bay. I regularly run past there when in Wellington (did so last evening), and have posted a few blips of that area.

This morning I went to the top of Mount Victoria hoping for a grand sky, and saw just greyness. A couple of tui were courting and the male posed for me. Unfortunately, I managed to blur it badly.

So when I got my pre-meeting strong coffee, I decided to continue the cafe series and take this photo.

Back home again, and ready to wind down.
