Day 1 of our trip to Turkey

Confusion over seats on the flight from Glasgow via Manchester and arrival in Turkey at 2.30 am was not an auspicious start but the transfer to a beautiful hotel went smoothly and we were ready for a fairly first leisurely day. We went on a half day trip to Aspendos to see an ancient bridge (heavily restored) the well preserved Roman amphitheatre and a Roman aquaduct which delighted mr s's for bridge-building heart.

I like this shot caught when we left the tourist track to find a Pharmacy for a guest who had forgotten to pack her pills. The sacks looked as if they contained potatoes. The seller has everything he needs to sell them (scoop, poly bags and scales). All he needs is some customers!
