Gardening in Konya

Turkey Day 2

There was a spectacular thunderstorm during the night and the early part of our long journey to Cappadocia was in torrential rain. We saw little of the Taurus Mountains. It was fairly dry when we got to Konya for a brief visit to a mosque. On our way again I spotted this busy group of gardeners.

Later we visited a restored caravanserie and an underground city, both very interesting but our photos are not very good.

We fetched up at another good hotel.
