Multi-tasking!

We combined our dog walk with our run today and may have discovered a new Olympic sport. You have to try and maintain a steady pace while keeping a wary eye for two daft Labradors and their trees sticks. This is the first time Bob has joined us running so I suppose we should have expected some doggy capers; think he did get the hang of just running with us by the end so we're going to give it another go on Friday.......
The multitasking didn't finish there though as invoicing was combined with baking. Cinnamon rolls for after school which were lucky not to be burnt as I got lost in the joy of spreadsheets and bills!
I may continue my theme this evening.......sitting on the sofa, cuddling Caley and watching Masterchef is still multitasking isn't it?

Recipe!
185ml warm water, 1 large egg, 4 tbsp butter, 450g bread flour, 3 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt & 2 tsp yeast.
I put this all in the bread maker on the dough setting which takes 1& 1/2 hours.
Then roll the dough out to about 15" by 10" and then spread 3 tbsp melted butter, 70g sugar and 2tsp ground cinnamon over the dough. Roll up tightly along long side. Cut the roll into about 1" pieces. Place on greased tray, cover and allow to rise till doubled, this takes 30-40 mins. Bake in preheated oven at 180 for 20 -25 mins. I drizzle them with hot water icing while they are still warm.
