Empty

Empty. This is how I've tried to show how I felt on Monday as I traveled North to be with my family after the sudden, but peaceful death of my Granddad yesterday.

It was a horrible drive North in miserably wet conditions which probably reflected my mood. I felt a bit better once I got home and was surrounded by my family, but it was hard going to visit my Gran, but she was coping quite well.

The family spent the afternoon together and we started to reminisce about Granddad and all the good times and funny things we've shared together rather than dwelling on the sadness.
