Flip Chart Religion

When I first chanced upon this scene, I thought the Government was guilty of taking adult education down to a new time low. Of course I was completely wrong!
I hung around for a few minutes while this gent bandied around various dates and figures, as he daubed his water colours on the flip chart. He also interspersed his artistic endeavours with a little history tale about Everest and its conquerors;- I was none the wiser where this was all going?
Then the "G" word cropped up and I moved on.
