Deer Encounter

Tonight, after a run, I went right outside the hospital because I was eyeing that white picnic table to sit at for a breather. While walking out there 3 doe popped up! A fourth one made itself known shortly thereafter when I thought I would try to get a closer look... kinda stupid, I know.

I've never seen them so up close in the wild before. They're kinda every-freakin-where out here! With hunting season right around the corner, I see why this part of the state is a popular destination.

I'm learning so much in my first week here!
