Birds on the Wing

Well, I went out early this morning just after sun up! I went along to Redcastle Estate to look for Sammy and his family, but I think I was a bit too early! They are not early risers, so after an hour I had had a good walk and decided to come home for Bacon and Eggs! I drove back along the shore road and spotted a load of waders all sitting on the grass bank as the tide was in. I pulled into a layby with the window down and Camera on. Lucky I did, because as soon as i pulled up they took to the wing, mostly Curlew's and I managed a few shots, of which I liked this one! It is nice to catch Curlews on the wing especially when there are a few of them. So here you are, my Birds on the Wing
