Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

Johnstone

Not a place I normally hang out. Anything that might have been charming in the past was obliterated when the hideous town centre was built in the 60s. now that's been knocked down and plans and piles are in place for something new and hopefully more human.

Here to meet a pal for lunch. She's in the catering business and says she knows a little place to eat. As i look around while I wait for her I approve her choice. Note to self: stop being such an outrageous snob. Think I might have 'Eggs Johnstone'. Seriously, that's what it says on the menu.

Actually, I'm so tired today I'd eat at a cornflake packet and sleep on the edge of a tea spoon.
