Woodland Still Life

After a visit to the dentist a nice walk in the Autumn sunshine was in order so I took the camera into a local copse where I found this display of leaves lying on top of a sawn tree trunk.

Nothing was altered or moved as I didn't think I could improve on nature apart from warming up the white balance. It reminded me of the wonderful bas - relief wood carvings you sometimes find in churches or stately homes.
