Wow!

The plan today had been to drop Audrey off for an hour tops at nursery so that I could do some work. She was still quite ill but things had gotten desperate and after a morning fielding client emails, it seemed the only option.

As we arrived at nursery, she couldn't have looked more pleased. Normally she cries when I leave but today she'd already left my side and was off playing on the other side of the room. She gave me a cursory glance as I left but her keyworker told me she'd call if there were any problems.

I called an hour later to find out she'd already gone to sleep. An hour after that and she was tucking into her fourth bowl of soup. So, I carried on working. Heck, I even treated myself and my laptop to a working lunch on Beech Road.

It seems Audrey needed a break from me and maybe I needed one from her too. She didn't even want to go when I picked her up, she ran back to the door and banged on the window and shouted "hiya" to all her friends inside.

So finally Audrey loves nursery! Now if she could just stop picking up every bug known to man in there, we'd be all set!!

Took today's blip pic of her looking in a Christmas window on her way home (you can just see her reflection if you look carefully). We walked past it on the way home and I heard a little voice from the buggy say, "Wow!"
