Dare to be Different!

It's an absolutely wonderful day today--54 degrees, sunny & barely a wisp of wind! It's truly more like spring this afternoon than fall. We were out walking along the Lake & spotted the pigeons all lined up on a wire....except for 1. Why was he by himself? Was he disliked, so was being ostracized; were they all perched next to their friends, so wouldn't let him in; Was he "different" somehow, so was being ignored; was he so hot in the warming sun that he didn't want to be packed in with all the others? I prefer to think he was a leader, & didn't care what the others thought or did....."Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path, and leave a trail"......... My husband's opinion: "the bird just wants a clear shot at dropping his sh** on somebody!" He cracks me up!! (my husband, not the bird! HaHa!)
