Should have gone to Specsavers?

I still can't get used to these new varifocal glasses. They do my head in at times! There's such a minute area of focus that it sometimes seems totally pointless. At other times they work perfectly well. It's as if my brain has to adjust to wearing them, a bit like when you wear glasses that invert everything and your brain eventually adjusts itself to see things the right way up.
