Desolate Trees, Loch Venachar

It was a really damp and miserable scene on Loch Venachar today. Although there were still traces of leaves on the trees the overall impression was one of autumn gone and winter approaching..the warm temperature being the odd thing about the day. There are though always interesting images to be had along the loch side and these thickly branched trees with few leaves made a nice close up.
We popped in to the Antique Centre on our way home and enjoyed some mulled wine and shortbread so a satisfying end to the afternoon.
