Time to put my feet up!

It's been a busy but rewarding day. The first job was to collect a carpet cleaner. At this time of year we have to set aside time at the holiday lodge to do repairs and "deep cleaning" ready for the January inspection by Visit Britain.

We've had a plumber and a joiner to reseal the shower and replace the skirting boards around it. We tried to time the cleaning of the carpets when the work was completed.

The afternoon was spent fitting curtains to The Mate's Land Rover Dormobile. We had brought the ones home that had been in the narrowboat when replacements were made. The colour was perfect and they washed up well. He was delighted!

At home we have just finished this lovely, light malt, a gift from a blipper, much appreciated!
