Olive-backed sunbird

A pair of these feeds in a tree outside our hotel balcony every day but I haven't managed a decent photo yet. This picture doesn't really do justice to the iridescent purple throat of the male. Gorgeous birds, I think of them as the Asian equivalent of hummingbirds - but they're bigger and they don't hover. This species occurs quite widely in South East Asia and also in Queensland.
