Ready for duty – and that’s all my own hair – I still have the receipt to prove it!!

Beard had slipped a bit but this is the only one in focus.

This is the third year I have been called upon at the village hall, and unfortunately (or otherwise because I do enjoy it) the word has got around and last year I got ‘invited’ to other village functions.

In the past two years the grandchildren have not recognised me, and we were hoping for a hat-trick but they were summoned to other pastures – birthday party I believe. Maybe we’ll make it three nil next year.
