MonoMonday - Framed

MonoMonday – Framed, or at least waiting to be:

Amongst my Auntie’s possessions (we lost her last Xmas) was this testimonial from the Royal Humane Society presented to my Uncle for rescuing ‘youths’ from the river Usk in 1933. My Uncle passed away some 30 years ago.

The testimonial is written on vellum parchment which is now in need of a bit of tlc, and a new frame. I have posted a close-up of the wording in my Folio.

Clipped to the side of the old frame is a newspaper cutting from the same time describing the incident. I intend to get the two mounted in the same new frame.
