Comfort Zone
Thank you for all your lovely comments on ‘moody cow’ yesterday, you are a great bunch.
As you can see from today’s blip I was out with my camera! Whilst it is a ‘safe’ photo I am pleased with myself, for a few reasons:
1. I want to be comfortable in public with my camera
2. I was at a local art exhibition
3. I asked the organiser if I could take photos
4. I came out of my comfort zone
My next door neighbour had entered two paintings and she won best intermediate new artist and whilst we were looking around bumped into another neighbour who also won an award and he then told us that another neighbour also had a ‘ipad’ painting’ that they were waiting to hear if she had been placed. Seems we have a talented village!
The organiser of the event was very kind and asked what I wanted to take photos of, so I told her about blip and that I wanted to develop practice taking ‘stranger’ photos and she seemed happy with that and let me wonder around, but she did take a photo of me taking a photo which I am more than happy with. A good trade off!
The singer I have blipped was incredibly good; she seemed to feel every word she was singing.
Been at the study book since 1pm, just finished so now it’s time to start a late Sunday lunch and then perhaps get a few more words down on the assignment.
Happy Sunday everyone
thank you for continuing to comment even though I am behind with your journals
