Wine holder

What a wonderful day. We woke at a fairly decent time and started the day with our normal weekend breakfast of fresh baguettes with homemade jam, and yoghurts and fresh coffee.

Pauls son had a birthday party at freshwater today so we went along too. Whilst the party were swimming we went upstairs and played bowling. Now I'm not going to say I won because that would be bragging ;-) Once done we went down to the pool and had it practically to ourselves once the party had gone up for food and bowling. Gave Jack and Erin lots of opportunity to practise without their armbands. After our swim and then lunch we all headed home to get ready for a bonfire and fireworks party we had been invited to on westbay beach.

We all had a lovely evening with friends and new people to meet. We had music and chatting and the children had a go a limbo and playing on the beach in the dark. We had homemade soup, and nibbles and cakes and then toasted marshmallows on the bonfire. The host Gary put on a great firework display which I think he enjoyed more than any of the children! A funny/sad moment when another group came down to the beach with fireworks. Nao went over and asked if they were having a party and fireworks and if so maybe we could do them all at the same time to make a bigger display. They said it was very kind but they had their Uncles ashes packed into theirs and were just giving him his send off. Opps

Thinking the Jack wine holder could become the new in thing. He was so hypnotised by the fire and he has such a flat spot on his head the plastic glass sat there perfectly lol
