My Transport Machine

It was the first winter we spent in our Dartmoor base that made us decide we needed a vehicle with 4 x 4 capabilities if we were going to get back and forward and get up onto the moor. As a Landrover lover that was the first place we looked but never found one in our price range that hadn't lead an active life!

By chance we came across the Dihatsu Terius which offered all we wanted. More comfy than a Landrover, a 5 seater and a large boot, 4x4 and great ground clearence but having the same footprint as a VW Golf.

We have now had it for over four years and it has suited us down to the ground and coped with snow and ice, muddy tracks and enabling us to pull on to the most muddy verges to park with sure knowledge we would get off without getting stuck

If you want to enjoy all year round access to this area and the moor then you must have the equipment and to cap it all, "Its great fun to drive"
