Meet Sammy

I had all but given up on an outside blip today, mizzly, dull, not a nice day at all. I scared away a Great Spotted Woodpecker by being too clumsy in my excitement to get to the camera I'd set up by the patio door and panned on to the peanut feeder. Later I missed a Magpie that came down to eat some pastry pieces I'd put out for the sparrows and robin. I was about to give up when I saw this little chap sitting on my cabin roof. It's not the sharpest of shots but he's about 40' away and I have cropped it somewhat. Better that than nothing at all!
