On My Way Home
Was up early this morning, got Gavin out of bed and cooked him a sliced sausage roll for his breakfast. I had put boiled eggs on for Cheryl and I, then Euan came down and had sliced sausage on a roll.
I then went to Rosewell with Gavin, Cheryl stayed at home as she wasn't feeling very well and Euan was at the park with his rugby friends. Gavin and I were going to the football but before we went I made a beautiful bowl of chilli for our tea later on.
At the football, Whitehill won 6-0. When I went to the pie stall at half time I asked for 2 pies and the woman said when Cheryl comes it's usually a tray of goodies she takes away and I replied by saying it's just Gavin and I today.
After the football, Gavin and I were driving up towards Penicuik on the back road and luckily I had my camera with me as I just had to take this shot of the Pentlands and I love the fence in the foreground. Isn't it amazing what you find on the way home.
