Beating the Deer

These are the apples from our trees that we managed to pick before the deer did! I'd say victory is sweet but actually these apples are quite sour. Perhaps I should mix them up with a few other types of apples and make a pie. That would make Mr. Odd Days very happy. And the deer so very sad.
