What I learned today
As the sun came to the full strength of day, about 8am I heard the rain falling and the geese as excited as small children about their trip to warmer climes. I thought that if I waited a bit longer, the rain would grow less and I would be able to get out and work in the garden, find a lovely blip with perhaps a bit of sun and still have time to get a few other things done today. That didn't happen.
It continues to rain shoemakers apprentices and it taught me this...that no matter how much kitty Zoe wants in, she will not sit still for a picture, that if I want a photo of 10 finches hanging off my feeder I had best clean the glass door on the next bright day, photos through screen doors are pointless, and finally, no matter how sweet I am, I will not melt if I go out in the rain.
I was trying to get a picture of the raindrops on the wet glass, but I will need a darker surface. Yet another lesson learned. I hope your days are drier or your showers are warmer. I think I also learned that it is time for a cup of tea.
