Spam
I like to think I'm quite switched on when it comes to spotting spam in my in box.
I usually delete before opening but the sender looked realistic for a change.
The clues that it is spam soon unfolded.
Barclays would have sent it to Mr. Porter.
There would be no spelling or grammatical errors.
There would not be a zip folder attached.
Barclays would have asked me to go to their website and change my details.
Or more likely they would have shut down my online facilities and written to me.
If this saves one of you from your account being hacked this blip is worth it.
You have my full permission to share today's observations to protect your friends.
Have a safe week.
