18 days down, 12 to go...
Common questions that I have been frequently asked about my MO during these first 18 days are ‘where is it?’ and ‘why didn’t you do this shape? Why have you chosen that shape and style of moustache?’ For those who asked ‘where is it?’ this was mainly from the sarcastic comedians that are also known as my family, thinking they are being hilarious and original with their taunts. Anyway, why have I chosen this shape of moustache? Well, being blonde means I am facially folically challenged, there are many areas that my facial hair does not grow. So I cannot do a handle bar moustache, as much as I would love to look as though I’m off American Chopper or best of all look as though I belong on Mythbusters (such a brilliant show), because hair doesn’t grow either side of the corner of my lips. Furthermore I struggle to grow hair in the middle, so as you can see there is a gap in the centre of my MO. Fortunately I am glad, as I describe that certain MO that grows in the centre as ‘the dictator’ because certain dictators had their MO this way, and surprisingly I don’t want to look like an evil dictator. So when I try and grow a full beard, I look as though Chewbacca has gone through a shredder or when the monster on Monster Inc. gets shaved for having a sock on him, so that sort of patchiness, but on my face. However the moustache I naturally have growing on my face, ‘the two slugs’ I describe it as, is a MO that with girth, greater thickness and length, famous faces suck as Freddie Mercury and Borat both rocked, so let us hope at the end I can make it look that cool and awesome.
So yes, in the photo I am wearing a tiara, I called this the ‘Princess Mario Peach’. Let me point out that I do not own the tiara, it is Jen’s and she suggested I wear it, to be honest I feel I can’t look any more creepy at this present time so I just went for it.
An extra £5 donated today from another one of Jen’s friends, almost hitting the triple figures. Thanks to all who have donated and Jen for the support with asking friends, lending me the tiara and taking the photo for me today.
