Snow Drift......

......of spring, the best kind I think.

I surprised mum with this little plant, a member of the iris family - Sisyrinchium Snow Drift. I quite liked the tiny dainty flowers which open in the sunlight and close during the night. Mum so kindly collected our mail and looked after our house while we were away, I'm sure she'll enjoy this wee treasure.
