I thought today’s blip needed some colour, and who better than this guy! I had walked out to a park near my house when I heard and quickly found him due to his continuous squawking. That’s the reason why his beak is open in this shot, because it was hard to get a photo without it. Either way, he was very beautiful, as was the day you can see behind him.

Did some christmas present preparations that involved photoshopping some home made vouchers as well as wrapping a few final presents. I’m getting it done so early since we will be in South America over Christmas (more specifically Buenos Aries) and so will be leaving our gifts behind for family to open on the day.

I also went for my first run since completing the 5k everyday challenge. It felt great! I had forgotten what it felt like to run and not have your legs feeling tired and stiff. I didn’t time it but I’m pretty sure my pace was good, and like I said, it certainly felt good.

Holly kindly made me dinner and is currently making birthdays cakes! She’s someone who very much enjoys spoiling someone for their birthday and does a very good job at it, so I’m feeling pretty excited for tomorrow when I turn twenty seven. I wonder if it’ll feel any different to twenty six…
