Light and shade

The Museum of Scotland is a place that I never tire of visiting and fairly often I go on one of the themed tours. Today’s theme of ‘Birds in Art and Mythology’ was fascinating to see the different artifacts from ancient Egyptian times with their bird gods up to recent times including a bowl made by Picasso. My blip was based upon one of these before I noticed the rays of sunlight illuminating one of the walls high up on part of the ‘new’ museum section. This photo was taken from one of the places seen high up on this and this. I liked the clean geometric lines and shapes with the contrasts of natural light and shade.
