Late Colour, Early Light

A very 'over the top' image, but I couldn't resist it. The colours were easily this stunning and, as I often do, I pointed the camera towards the sun for a high contrast image. This is part of an avenue that runs from the village of Coven to Chillington Hall. It is hard to believe that at one time carriages would travel up the avenue.

Blue is a little brighter, well enough to show his displeasure with the way we are having to handle him to help him recover. He resolutely ignores my freindly advances. I do hope he will forgive me, someday!
