A Cold and Frosty Perthshire Morning

Another bright but cold day.
Decided to head towards Perth to do a little browsing around the Antiques centre at Abernyte. We were looking for a clock for our mantelpiece to replace the carriage clock we have at the moment.
Despite the large range of all things antique we didn't see a clock to suit.
Undeterred we headed back towards Dundee and visited the Carse Antique Centre at Rait.
Success ,we found a lovely little Edwardian clock which was in working order :-)
The clock was bought along with a little Gouda pottery vase and a little Poole plate.
We then had lunch at the Tufted Duck which was lovely as always.
Stopped off at Riverside Drive on the way home so that all three of us could stretch our legs and enjoy a by the waterside.
I took this shot at Abernyte, I liked the way the smoke from the cottages was trailing over the hillside.
