Autumn

The previous owners of our house were very keen gardeners and plantsmen. When you see the colours at times like this it really shows that they knew what they were doing!

The ikea stuff had been delivered by 9.15 so I was able to meet Nicky and baby Charlie at the Baking Birds. Added bonus was the Bird herself joining us for her break.

I spent the afternoon chasing paperwork until school pick up then went to my friend Alison's for a cuppa while the children played. I even managed to leave 2 there while I zoomed home to get turned around before going back to join them all at pasta night. I think it could become a regular feature of our Monday evenings as it involves no cooking for me!
