We were talking to Josephine and Judy in Cogwebs Cafe about the film camera i was carrying. Josephine said she had an old camera that her grandmother used and eventually gave to her. In fact she went home and got it and this is it. Its a Welta Perle harking back to the 1930s we think. I have been entrusted to take this family heirloom to Adelaide tomorrow so a friend can look at it. He knows lots about old cameras and we are hoping to load a film in it and also hoping that it still works. i think we will be lucky. It would be just wonderful to take a photo of Josephine (probably in her seventies) with the same camera her grandmother used.
