More than I can chew?

Just checking tolerances and locations. The old boards have been lifted out and a new base covered with plaster is now fitted. Just got to smooth it all off and expose the railway track so that the occasional shunter can get along with the fish van.

There are precedents for BR rails running through roads, Weymouth had such an installation as did Aberdeen harbour. And of course the trams did and still do in some cities (excl Edinburgh, where they should but haven't quite cracked it yet).

Do you ever wish you hadn't started something?
