The Final Frontier

Today - in the interests of Blipping, I ventured to the very edge of the Universe.

Walking alongside the Rochdale Canal at Warland (between Todmorden and Rochdale) I came upon this marker.
I knew I could go no further, and Polly dog sensed my unease. What lay to the West (to the right of this blip) I knew not. All I knew is that we had to return from whence we came - so we did.
At this time it began to rain heavily - was this an omen :-)

This boundary stone is on the Rochdale Canal at Warland Upper Lock. The canal is the highest Broad Canal in England - 600 ft above sea level.
