Bio dome

Another day of two halves.

The opposite way round today. It started with a migraine. The second one recently that came on when driving in the dark and the rain on a motorway. I'm not sure I like this new development it's much scarier than waking up with one. The plus side is that I was able to do the 3 soluble aspirin trick an Aussie doctor taught me. It only works if you catch it early (hence me forgetting about it till now) which I almost did today.

It worked well enough for me to drive down to Bournemouth for a postgraduate open "evening" (it started at 4pm! I guess they're not totally geared up for workers). I was still a little hazed but came away much clearer as to what I'd like my next career move to be. I just need to make it happen. Either finding the funding for (yet another) MSc or working any contacts and contacts of contacts that I may have to see if there's another way in.

Much to think about but now sleep. My brain is objecting to me forcing it to try and function normally through the dreg ends of a thankfully short migraine.
