Humming Bird Hawk Moth

Ian was feeling much better so we went to Arundel Castle today.
It's quite expensive for a ticket to see everything but there is a lot to see so worth it. I think my favourite part was the old keep (c. 1067) but the gardens and rest of castle were good too.
You're not supposed to take photos in side (security reasons) but we took the odd sneaky few - so I have loads of castle, chapel, church and cathedral pictures but on a stroll around Arundel itself we saw this little fellow.

They are supposedly getting more common around the UK, I usually catch site of one a year, they are great to watch in flight - just like a little humming bird.

Stopped in an old fashioned sweetshop fpr some fudge and cola cubes. Yum!
