milk street / belmont
i haven't blipped since zambia. i realise that this fact might give you the impression that i am wallowing in a big pit of post-zambia depression so i thought i should probably blip again. i do miss zambia terribly and i am probably at my happiest when i am there. however, i do love shrewsbury and i probably don't say that enough.
i love my job. i love my beautiful little home. i love my new friends and old friends that i have been able to re-connect with. and i love shrewsbury. i love it's curious little alleys, it's funny names and beautiful unique old buildings. i love the amazing independent shops and restaurants and cafes. i love finding new things everyday (apart from today when i learnt that there is an active neo-nazi group in north shrewsbury!).
so, here begins a new series.....all the things i love about shrewsbury. today is belmont / milk street. i love the names and i love the cute pastel colours.
unfortunately, since i upgraded my new camera, my widest lens is 50mm (which is really not very wide!). so, until i invest in a new lens, my viewpoint might be slightly limited!)
