Photoshoot day
Had a brilliant work day on location in Manchester today. First up a strategy presentation to clients at the Hilton (went brilliantly - weird as it was with the same clients I was trying to drop last week, funny how that one has turned round).
Then we went out on location taking pictures of cool types on the streets of Manchester in their leather jackets. The idea behind the campaign is to find out what the story is about their jacket. My favourite was the beautiful Flic (pictured), a 21 year old DJ from Manchester who has just got back from working in Ibiza and Cape Town. She said her jacket had travelled with her and smelled of DJ booths and airports!
Grabbed lunch with Laura (who I work with) at Alchemist. Yummy chicken in a basket.
Then dashed to a 1950s wedding shoot, working with two photographers, a wedding designer, two models, a stylist, hairdresser, florist and make-up artist. It went really well and am very excited to see the retro pics.
Home finally to my poor Mum and Dad who had endured an 1 hour 45min rush hour commute this morning followed by a teething, irritable Audrey. After being at mine, they were off to move my sister into her old new house (long story). My Mum's ill and run down so I imagine they will be exhausted tonight. They really are amazing!
Audrey settled after they left (typical) with a dose of Calpol and we watched our forgotten BabyTV nursery rhymes DVD together with her singing and clapping along. Funny how the DVDs you retire come back into their own after a decent break!
Really enjoyed today. A satisfying work and home day.
