Squorchid
I was chatting to Colin today, as we do, avoiding work, and we got talking about how we've both grown a bit fonder of square format images over the past while, maybe through the influence of instagram! Since I've been feeling a bit short of blip inspiration recently I thought I'd try to do a week or so of solely 1:1 blips. And not just cropping them to square, but setting my X-Pro1 to square format and visualising and shooting them that way too. So here's the first!
I've had another day behind the computer (productivity: acceptable) and I found myself with 15 minutes to kill before a bride arrived for a chat about her wedding, so I watered my plants and then took a shot of this orchid. It was a house-warming present from a friend and I'm amazed that it is miraculously still alive despite me forgetting it exists for weeks on end. They obviously don't need a lot of water!
