Cool snail

After another lazy breakfast we said goodbye to the Birmingham branch of the family and headed across country to Burbage to see my brother and sis in law. We had a boot full of stuff from the bungalow to deliver and were rewarded with a lovely home cooked roast.

It was a bit damp and drizzly but we got 5 minutes in the garden - Lottie was fascinated by the pond with it's little fountain and lights. This is a rather large shiny snail that lives next to the pond!

We stayed longer than we intended - reluctant to leave! But we had to get back and get school and work stuff organised. It was a great weekend :-)
