Sunset over the bracken

This photo was taken not far from where we chased the sun yesterday - but today we started higher and earlier and were able to enjoy the amazing colours of the last half hour of the sun. A minute after I'd taken this, the brightness had left us and by the time we were back at the car it was dusk.

This is a favourite view of the hills above Loch Eck. You come out from the forest and over the brow of a little hill and there they are. Magic.
